Guests drift, glasses empty, the music shifts — and sooner or later everyone ends up at the bar. We built one worth ending up at.
— Wherever it stands, the evening finds it.
A birthday, a wedding, a jubilee, a company evening. We deliver the bar, install it and collect it the day after. You only have to invite.
The bar stays in your garden. A permanent place for every summer evening, every unplanned drink, every party still to come.
When night falls the bar seems to float like liquid magma. It is the beating heart of the party.
Beneath, a frame that is permanent and technically complete — cooling, ice, water, light. Around it, a skin that dresses the bar entirely. The skin is interchangeable. The bar can wear a new skin by another artist, without replacing anything beneath.
Whatever the artist brings to the skin, the glow comes through all of it. The bar lights up from within, from every side.
The wheels stay out of sight. The bar rests on the ground like a piece of architecture and still goes wherever the next party needs it to be.
— The frame is permanent. The skin is yours to change.

The bar as it stands today — stone effect, volcanic light. We deliver, install and collect. One evening, or a season of them.
Four éditions a year, one artist per édition. The artist dresses the whole bar — and the glow still comes through. Five numbered bars, then the édition closes.
Delivered and installed by us, wherever the bar will come to life.
For the exclusive request. Owner, artist and crafter compose the bar together — frame, skin and extensions. One piece. One owner.
Every request is answered with a proposal of its own.
Each season a guest artist — a painter, a photographer, a poet — composes the skin of the Magma bar.
The work is applied to five bars, numbered one to five, identical to the letter. An artist designs the édition; five bars carry exactly that design.
Every bar carries an engraved brass tag with its unique number, the name of the owner, the artist and the craftsman. When the fifth tag is engraved, the édition is closed and never reopened.
The artists are chosen by Eveline Heylen, our art curator. She brings the most inspiring artists to the Magma bar — so that every édition gives the Magma bar a skin of its own.
We design, we prototype and we bring together. Prototypes are built and tested in our own workshop in Belgium. Assembly and the final inspection are ours — no bar leaves without passing through our craftsman’s hands.
A lifetime in building. He makes the prototypes — and feels whether a design holds up in matter.
A career in large and listed heritage projects. He brings calm to the complex.
Communication and concept. He helps each owner find the story the bar should tell.
Finance, organisation — and a firm foot in gastronomy. He makes sure the whole adds up.
No catalogue. A conversation, and then a proposal that is yours alone.
